Below is a curated list of AI web tools available as of July 2023. This is not a comprehensive list of all tools nor does it include plugins available on the paid version of ChatGPT.

Google Bard pairs the power of Google search with the chat functions of Ai. It is a large language model chatbot developed by Google AI. It can generate text, translate languages, write creative content, and answer questions in an informative way. A benefit over text-only tools like ChatGPT3, Bard can include links and graphics it finds searching answers to your queries and prompts.

Brisk Teaching is a Chrome plug-in designed to enhance the teaching experience. It offers a range of features including the ability to test and adjust the reading levels of articles very quickly making it easy for educators to customize levels for ESL and differentiations, generate lesson plans, provide students with writing feedback directly within Google Docs, and detect AI-generated work. Note that the installation of Brisk on your school's Google account may require approval from your district.

Note: As a user, I preferred Diffit's output versus other tools when it came to changing the reading levels of articles because it created vocabulary, reading comprehension questions, and critical thinking questions automatically.

Epuzzle, already a favorite tool of educators, has added Ai capabilities. Epuzzle's Teacher Assist Ai can automatically generate questions from videos or auto-grade open-ended questions. Users can import their own videos, use YouTube, or use Epuzzle's free curated content. Edpuzzle's online platform allows students to have individual interactions with the teacher without peer scrutiny.

Create digital designs based on text-based prompts or upload an image and Microsoft Designer will create several variations of designs automatically using that image. For instance, uploading a school logo would easily create many branded variations.  Now creating school material can truly be an all-inclusive activity while still maintaining brand standards.

Canva's Ai tools harness the power of AI to simplify the design process for video, presentations, whiteboards and so more. Simply upload an image and Canva Magic Design automates design creation using its vast collection of templates. Use Magic Write to create Ai generated text content for presentation based on user prompts. Canva's video tools sync music beat to video, animate, and automatically create captions to increase comprehension. Canva can launch student content creation in a new stratosphere!
