As a member of the Ainslie Winmore Block Club, your annual membership of $20 provides opportunities to build a strong sense of community and supports our local businesses, non-profits, and schools. Join us and become part of the exciting Entertainment District community! - Advocacy and influence that creates public policy by working closely with preservationists, developers, and both the 46th and 48th Ward office officials
- Our Annual Block Party brings together neighbors and local business from across the 1,200+ households in Uptown to come together, make new friends, and connect with old friends while enjoying a welcoming, safe, and inclusive event with great food and live music
- We collectively create a strong community that can increase home and property values
- Regularly organize clean and green trash pick-ups, and other beautification efforts, to ensure a safe and clean environment for the enjoyment of all
- Community outreach services to seniors living in Uptown
- Maintaining the community aqueduct gardens along Argyle
- Increase public safety through infrastructure improvements
- Involvement in quarterly CAPS Policing Meetings
- Keeping neighbors informed through our social media platforms and regular quarterly meetings
