Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in joining AIML and resonate with the following mindset:
1. You are highly curious and eager to dedicate time and effort to solving challenging problems.
2. You have a strong talent for designing and creating new things.
3. You take great enjoyment in approaching and solving problems through mathematical formulation.
Currently, there are no available positions in AIML.
We will typically take 3-4 new M.S./Ph.D. students each year (1-2 per semester), depending on open projects and funding in the lab.
If you are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. at AIML, it is strongly encouraged to first participate in our undergraduate internship program (see below) prior to applying for graduate admission at DGIST.
Please check the research and publications page to find topics that match your interests.
Prospective Ph.D. students in Mechanical, Robotics/Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering are welcome to apply to AIML.
Please email Dr. Seong-Min Lee (leesm128@dgist.ac.kr), including preferred start term, with the following documents attached:
1. Personal statement - research interests and motivations (1-2 pages, in Korean or English)
2. updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
3. Transcripts (unofficial copies are acceptable for the initial review)
4. Publication list or Portfolio (if applicable)
There are two official opportunities to join AIML as graduate students in the spring and fall semesters. Please refer to the DGIST Graduate Admissions website for details.
