Emergency Exit wanted to focus on Housing Resources for our student community. Using a website that is connected to the BMCC database, using students’ BMCC login, that can pull students’ information (ID, financial aid, etc) they give students the ability to fill out an application where they enter their living information and preferences. From here, the students can be matched with potential roommates through the use of AI. Students can choose their roommates and then mid way through, or at the end of the semester they can answer a roommate review to judge their roommate on how accurately their assessment of themselves was.  Based off their review, AI will consider it and suggest potentially better roommates for the following year.

The Underdogs wanted to focus on the Health and Wellness of our community by creating SmartCart. SmartCart is an AI-Powered application designed to guide students in making economical decisions based on their set budgets and offer nutritional guidance. Users can set budgets, compare prices, and recieve tips for healthy, affordable, low-waste, and improved dietary habits. By entering a weekly/monthly food budget, users can also get a list of stores with the best prices with additional tips of how to eat healthily on a budget.
