Why AI? The AI Revolution

This year we decided to design a track around Artificial Intelligence for the participants. AI revolutionizes job industries and our lives by streamlining tasks, enhancing efficiency, and fostering innovation. Through automation, AI relieves humans from repetitive tasks, allowing them to focus on higher-value work that requires creativity and critical thinking. In industries such as healthcare, computer-science, finance, and transportation, AI optimizes processes, reduces costs, and improves decision-making. As AI continues to advance, it holds the potential to reshape industries, create new job opportunities, and ultimately enhance the quality of life for individuals worldwide.

How Artificial Intelligence Is Transforming the Way We Work?

With the generative AI added to the picture, 30% of hours worked today could be automated by 2030*. This update will establish new working areas while also terminating certain ones.

The chart to the right depicts projected job changes for the next few years. Industries across the board are moving towards more automated business practices - this means the need for service orientated jobs [Cashiers, bank tellers, etc.] will decrease. To stay ahead of the A.I. revolution, we decided to expose our participants to how A.I. can potentially be used to solve day-to-day issues. Going forward, participants can start putting their minds towards solving more complex issues with a foundation of what they've experienced in this challenge.
