This is the lack of transparency surrounding AI algorithms which is not easily understood by those affected by their decisions which can lead to situations where individuals are subjected to decisions made by algorithms without knowing how or why those decisions were made. When individuals are harmed by algorithmic decisions, they often have no means to challenge those decisions. This lack of accountability can lead to a sense of powerlessness and injustice among those affected.

AI systems can only be as good as the data they are trained on, biased data can produce unjust or false results. To guarantee that the data used to train AI algorithms is trustworthy and devoid of bias, it is crucial to properly choose and evaluate the data. When people who are not in decision-making process are affected by bias, the bias just went on without being noticed.
