This privacy policy applies to the HairStyle app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by AppMerge (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use “AS IS”.
The Application collects certain information when you download and use it. This may include:
Your device’s Internet Protocol address (IP address)
The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and time spent on those pages
The operating system you use on your mobile device
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Face Data (User Photos):
HairStyle allows users to upload photos that may include their face to apply AI-generated hairstyle previews.
These photos are used only temporarily for processing and previewing different hairstyles.
HairStyle does not collect, store, or use facial recognition, biometric identifiers, or biometric templates for identification purposes.
The Service Provider may use the information you provide to:
Improve app performance and user experience
Provide you with important notices or required updates
Use of Face Data:
Face data (from uploaded photos) is used solely to generate AI-based hairstyle previews.
The uploaded photo is processed through our API Provider to apply hairstyle simulations and returned to the user.
Face data is not used for advertising, analytics, user tracking, or any secondary purpose.
Only aggregated, anonymized data may be transmitted to third-party services to help improve the Application.
The Application uses the following third-party SDKs:
Google Analytics for Firebase
Firebase Crashlytics
Facebook
RevenueCat
Sharing of Face Data:
Uploaded photos are shared only with our API Provider for the purpose of hairstyle simulation.
Face data is never sold, reused, or disclosed to any other third parties.
The Service Provider may disclose data only:
As required by law (e.g., legal requests or subpoenas)
To protect rights or safety
With trusted service providers working on behalf of the Service Provider, under this policy
Uploaded photos are processed in real-time and automatically deleted from all systems within 24 hours.
HairStyle and its API Provider do not retain face data longer than necessary to complete the hairstyle simulation.
You can stop all data processing by uninstalling the Application at any time using your device’s standard uninstall process.
The Service Provider will retain User Provided Data only as long as necessary to operate the Application.
If you wish to have your personal data deleted, please contact support@appmerge.net. Requests will be handled in a reasonable timeframe.
Users may choose not to upload any photos.
Users may delete the app at any time to stop all data collection and processing.

The Service Provider uses industry-standard safeguards to protect all data.
Face Data Security:
Uploaded photos are encrypted during transmission and handled securely during processing.
All face data is automatically deleted within 24 hours.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. All changes will appear on this page, and continued use of the Application will be considered acceptance of the updated terms.
