AI for Everyday — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 8 October 2026
AI for Everyday ("the app") is published by Rehman Ullah, an individual developer based in Pakistan ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have.
1. Summary
You don't need an account to use the app.
Your conversations, history, saved answers and plans are stored on your device.
When you ask a question, your text and any photo you attach are sent to our server only to generate the answer.
The app shows no ads. We do not sell your data or track you across other apps and websites.
2. Information we collect
Content you send for an answer. When you use a helper (such as Scan & Ask, Write for Me, Cook from Photo, Fix & Explain, Decide for Me, Shop Smarter, Teach Me or Plan My Day), the app sends your question, the helper you chose and, if you add one, a photo to our server. The server uses an AI model to create the answer and sends it back to your device.
Content stored only on your device. Your conversation history, saved answers, plans, reminders and the photos you attach are stored locally on your iPhone. We do not upload this history.
Voice input. If you use the microphone, your speech is converted to text by Apple's speech recognition service, under Apple's privacy policy. We never receive your audio, only the resulting text if you send it as a question.
Purchases and credits. Payments are processed by Apple. We do not see your payment details. RevenueCat receives your purchase and subscription status together with a random, anonymous user ID. To manage your AI credits, Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) stores your credit balance and usage, linked to that anonymous ID. A random device identifier, kept in your iPhone's Keychain, is used only to grant the free welcome credits once per device and to restore your credits after a reinstall.
Diagnostics and usage. Google Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring collect information such as device model, iOS version, app version, which screens and features are used, crash reports and performance measurements. We do not collect your advertising identifier. Firebase App Check confirms requests come from a genuine copy of the app.
Permissions. The app asks for camera, photo library, microphone and speech recognition access only to use the features you choose. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device.
Support. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
3. How we use information
We use this information to:
generate the answers you request;
provide and restore your subscription and credits;
prevent abuse, such as repeatedly claiming welcome credits;
fix crashes and improve the app;
respond to support requests.
4. Legal bases (EEA, UK and similar laws)
We process information to provide the service you ask for (contract), for our legitimate interests in securing and improving the app, and to meet legal obligations.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the app:
Google LLC (Firebase): credits storage, analytics, crash and performance reports, app integrity checks.
RevenueCat, Inc.: subscription management.
Apple Inc.: payments and speech recognition.
Our AI server and AI model providers: used only to process your request and produce the answer.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
6. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. They apply safeguards required by applicable law.
7. How long we keep information
Questions and photos are processed to generate the answer and are not kept on our server afterwards, except for limited technical logs kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.
On-device data stays until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.
Credit and subscription records are kept while you use the app and as required for billing and legal purposes.
Analytics data is kept according to Firebase's retention settings (up to 14 months for analytics event data).
8. Your choices and rights
You can:
delete your history and saved answers in the app, or uninstall the app to remove all local data;
turn off camera, photo, microphone and notification access in iOS Settings;
manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct or delete your information, or to object to its processing. To make a request, email us. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect information in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure.
10. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 where local law requires. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. AI answers
Answers are generated by AI and may be inaccurate. Don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
