Call for Contributions
This workshop intends to be a forum to bring together researchers in classical infrastructure sciences together with the AI community.
Our objectives are twofold:
Fostering a Synergistic Dialogue: We aim to establish an intellectual forum where cutting-edge empirical and theoretical advancements in AI applied to CIs can be shared and scrutinized. This exchange of knowledge is not limited to neural network paradigms but extends to a broad spectrum of AI methodologies, including Optimization, Planning, Search, and Hybrid approaches.
Identifying and Tackling Novel Challenges: The workshop is an incubator for identifying emerging problems where AI can be instrumental. It is a platform for collaborative problem-solving, where the brightest minds from academia, industry, and governmental sectors unite to address the multifaceted challenges facing CIs.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to
AI/ML Methods and approaches for:
Energy Generation and/or Transmission
Transportation
Hospitals / Emergency Services
Internet connectivity
Defense
Chemical Industry
Supply Chain
Nuclear energy generation/nonproliferation
Waste Management
Water Systems
AI in Cybersecurity of Critical Systems
Reliability of Critical Systems
Simulations/Datasets for applications in Critical Infrastructure
AI for detection and/or repair of service interruption
Fundamental Research on AI/ML methods that fit well with real-world challenges faced by CI.
Open Challenges on CI where AI is believed to be able to provide a feasible solution.
