The primary goal of this competition is to advance the development of fair and robust AI-generated face detection systems by addressing the critical challenge of fairness generalization under real-world deployment conditions. Participants will be tasked with building models that not only achieve high utility performance (e.g., AUC) but also demonstrate fairness across demographic subgroups such as gender, age, and skin tone. By leveraging large-scale, demographically annotated datasets—AI-Face, this competition seeks to catalyze novel methodological innovations, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and raise awareness about fairness concerns in the context of deepfake detection and generative AI. The competition ultimately promotes responsible AI by encouraging solutions that are generalizable, reproducible, and equitable across diverse populations.
