Q1: Should a workshop paper be submitted in order to take part in the competition?

The workshop is independent of the competition, so submitting a workshop paper is not required to participate in the competition.

Q2: Is it absolutely necessary for a selected team to come and give the oral presentation in person, or would it be possible to do it online over a video call or a pre-recorded video?

Selected teams are encouraged to deliver their presentations in person; however, this is not mandatory. Presentations may also be given via live video call or submitted as a pre-recorded video.
