Growing up in the media capital of the world, I have been afforded numerous opportunities that I cannot begin to show my appreciation for. I found myself on soundstages at a very young age and began appearing in Disney promotional videos and commercials in early elementary school. I have done so much in the entertainment industry outside my school experience. In addition to my work with Disney, I have assisted with game development for a game show produced by Nickelodeon, produced a proof-of-concept video for HBO Max, and assisted in the production of a proof-of-concept video for a Fox game show currently in development.
During my four years at John Burroughs High School, I have hosted and contributed to countless editions of Good Morning John Burroughs. In my senior year alone, I have produced and edited more than 75 episodes. I am equally comfortable on both sides of the camera. My reel showing my antics in front of the camera says it all!
I was hand-selected to produce a story for PBS News Hour focusing on the freedoms of the press and speech at another high school. While researching, producing, and editing the piece, I learned about the protective rights student reporters are given whilst making sure to work with PBS executives to craft a professional piece.
I was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for writing, directing, producing, and editing the first-ever Burbank Unified School Districts Career Technical Education Dual Enrollment Introduction Video.
