A competition was organized by L'Oreal Paris about which we came to know through campus drive, named BRANDSTORM. It was an innovative competition that consisted of three tracks: sustainability, inclusion and technology. Almost all universities around the world participated in this competition, including the NEDUET. Around 350+teams participated in this innovative competition that was based on disrupting the beauty industry. Our team opted for sustainability track and proposed an idea targeting the packaging in beauty industry. Concerning this, our team put forward an idea to develop peel bio shell as a replacement for plastic packaging. Earlier in March 2022, our team was asked to present a 3 slide presentation where we portrayed our idea in front of the jury members. Gladly, the jury loved our proposed idea. In accordance with this, our team reached the national finals ,out of several leading universities of Pakistan where we were told to widen our thoughts regarding that idea and to include all the minor details surrounding that concept. Fortunately we were able to compose all the information into 10 slides and later on 14 April 2022, all the national finalists from around the prominent universities of Pakistan presented their complete idea to the L'Oreal jury.
