What are the greatest challenges to achieving effective human oversight of AI systems?
How can we design AI systems that enable meaningful human oversight?
How do we assign responsibilities to and support the various stakeholders involved in oversight?
The planned activities at the workshop include:
Lightning talks from select participants to share diverse perspectives and examples of oversight
A group-based design activity where each group focuses on a different oversight context
A red-teaming jigsaw activity where groups find failure modes, biases, and unintended consequences in the designs of other groups

If you are interested in attending the workshop, please complete the Google Form below to respond to the Call for Participation. The Google Form solicits your perspective on human oversight of AI systems in terms of definitions, examples, and opinions, allowing us to plan the lightning talks and design activity. You may receive an invitation for a lightning talk in response to your submission!
