Our Mandate

TRAIL -The Route to AI Learning is an initiative of the Artificial Intelligent Systems Research Group (ArISRG) of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria.

The objective of this initiative is to introduce AI education to undergraduate and graduate students of the university. TRAIL recognizes the importance of equipping students with AI competencies that will enable them to pursue diverse career paths beyond the conventional academic or computer science domains to meet the growing demand for technical research skills.

The initiative offers a variety of learning opportunities, such as workshops, boot camps, summer schools, mentorship programs, and roundtable discussions. These cover various aspects of AI and ML, such as programming, implementation, deployment, and research dissemination.
