2. Account Information

Ai Notes uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. When you sign in with Apple, Apple may provide us with information necessary to create and maintain your account.

Depending on your Apple settings, this may include:

• Apple-provided user identifier

• Name, if provided

• Email address

• Apple's private relay email address, if you choose to hide your email address

This information is used to authenticate your account and provide access to your Ai Notes account and associated functionality.

3. User Content

Ai Notes allows you to create notes using content that you intentionally provide to the application.

This may include:

• Audio recordings

• Voice recordings

• Text

• Notes

• PDF documents

• Images

• YouTube URLs

• Questions submitted through AI chat

• Other supported content that you attach to a note

Your notes and associated user content are primarily stored locally on your device. When you use AI-powered functionality, relevant content may be securely transmitted through our backend infrastructure to OpenAI for processing. This processing is necessary to provide features such as transcription, summarization, content analysis, AI-generated insights, and AI chat.

4. Microphone and Audio

If you use recording functionality, Ai Notes may request access to your device microphone. Microphone access is used to record audio that you intentionally choose to capture through the application. Recorded audio may be processed by our AI infrastructure to provide transcription and other features requested by you. You can control microphone permissions through your device settings.

5. Documents, Images and Other Sources

If you upload a PDF, image, text, or other supported source, the content may be temporarily transmitted to our backend infrastructure and AI processing services when necessary to provide the requested functionality.

This may include:

• Text extraction

• Summarization

• Analysis

• Key point generation

• AI-generated insights

• AI chat

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide such content to Ai Notes.

6. OpenAI and AI Processing

Ai Notes uses OpenAI API services to provide AI-powered features. Depending on the feature you use, relevant content may be transmitted to OpenAI for processing.

This may include:

• Text

• Audio

• Images

• Documents

• Questions

• Instructions required to generate AI responses

OpenAI states that data submitted through its API is not used to train or improve OpenAI models by default unless the customer explicitly opts in to share data for that purpose. OpenAI may retain certain data for security and abuse monitoring purposes. According to OpenAI's current API documentation, abuse-monitoring logs may be retained for up to 30 days by default, unless a longer period is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect OpenAI's services or others. 7. Local Data Storage

Your notes and user content are primarily stored locally on your device. Ai Notes may use local storage technologies to keep your notes and application data available on your device. We do not intentionally maintain a permanent copy of your personal notes, audio recordings, documents, or images on our own servers after the processing required to provide the requested feature has been completed. Temporary processing or technical storage may occur when required to provide a feature or operate the service.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through Ai Notes.

These measures may include:

• Secure network connections

• Authentication controls

• Access controls

• Protected backend infrastructure

• Secure local storage mechanisms

However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Subscriptions and Payments

Ai Notes offers an optional auto-renewable subscription. The current subscription is:

Payments are processed exclusively through Apple In-App Purchase. We do not directly collect or store your credit card, debit card, or Apple payment credentials. The price displayed to you may vary depending on your country, region, currency, taxes, or Apple's pricing policies. The applicable price is shown to you in the application before you confirm the purchase. Apple manages payment processing, billing, subscription renewal, and cancellation. Auto-renewable subscriptions continue until cancelled.

10. Superwall

Ai Notes uses Superwall to manage subscription paywalls and subscription-related functionality. Superwall may process information necessary to display paywalls, determine available subscription offers, and provide subscription-related analytics. 11. Analytics and Advertising

Ai Notes does not use third-party advertising networks. Ai Notes does not use third-party advertising to target users. We do not intentionally use your notes, recordings, documents, or other user content for advertising purposes. The application may receive subscription-related events through services used to manage subscriptions and paywalls.

13. Data Retention

Your notes and user content are primarily stored locally on your device. They remain available until you delete them or delete your Ai Notes account. When you delete your account, locally stored account data and user content are deleted from the application. Our systems do not intentionally maintain permanent copies of your user content after the processing necessary to provide the requested feature has been completed. Certain technical, security, transaction, or legal records may be retained for a limited period where required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to protect our services. Data transmitted to third-party services such as OpenAI may be subject to those providers' own applicable retention policies.

14. Account Deletion

You can delete your Ai Notes account directly from the application.

Go to:

Settings → Account → Delete Account

When you delete your account:

• Your locally stored notes are deleted from the application.

• Your locally stored user content is deleted.

• Your account information maintained by our backend is deleted or scheduled for deletion, subject to applicable legal or security requirements.

Apple's requirements provide that users should be able to delete accounts and associated user data, subject to legally required retention. Deleting your Ai Notes account does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription.

15. Children's Privacy

Ai Notes is a general-purpose productivity and note-taking application.It is not specifically designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. 16. International Data Processing

Depending on the services and infrastructure used to provide Ai Notes, information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards may apply to international data transfers.
