The AI ED Market, as you saw previously, is both large and complex. We wanted to focus in on a specific technology to showcase in this OER. We chose AI Tutors and Chatbots for a few reasons:

1. It has a long history of development (40+ years)
2. Recent advancements in big data and machine learning have enhanced AI's capability to teach in a meaningful way
3. There is potential for AI tutors to be incredibly disruptive to education
