His research interests also include in-silico design of proteins and antibodies.

Dr. Sridip Parui is an Assistant Professor in Department of Life Sciences, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam. He did his PhD from IACS Kolkata under the supervision of Dr.Biman Jana. In his doctoral study, he investigated low temperature hydrophobicity and its role in protein structure. He then worked with Prof. Ken Dill on integrative modelling of protein structure and protein-ligand interactions. Sridip has also worked with Prof. Anand Srivastava as Research Associate at MBU, IISC on understanding the fold switching of metamorphic proteins.
