1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the AI Digger Chrome Extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Extension.
2. Description of Service
AI Digger is a browser extension that allows users to visually define data points on web pages, use third-party Artificial Intelligence APIs (including text-based DOM analysis and Multimodal Vision AI/Screenshot capabilities) to generate highly resilient CSS selectors, and automate the extraction of that data into structured formats (CSV, Excel) or via webhooks.
3. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
Lawful Scraping: You agree to use the Extension only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Extension complies with the Terms of Service, robots.txt policies, and copyright laws of the target websites you scrape or capture screenshots of.
Third-Party API Costs & Vision Token Usage: AI Digger operates on a strictly "Bring Your Own Key" model. You are solely responsible for creating and funding your own accounts with OpenAI, Google (Gemini), or Anthropic (Claude). Please note that utilizing the "Live AI Vision" or "Screenshot-Assisted Healing" features utilizes multimodal AI, which may consume significantly more API credits/tokens than standard text requests. You are entirely responsible for monitoring your usage and for any fees or charges incurred on those platforms through your use of the Extension.
Data Privacy Compliance: If you use the Extension to scrape Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from public websites, or if you capture screenshots containing sensitive data, you are strictly responsible for complying with applicable regional data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
4. Intellectual Property
The Extension, including its original code, UI design, logic, and features, is the intellectual property of its creator (TransFamesh) and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Extension's availability, reliability, accuracy, or compatibility. Because the Extension interacts with third-party websites that frequently change their DOM structure, implement anti-bot protections, or alter their visual layouts, we cannot guarantee that scraping jobs or AI-generated selectors will work indefinitely.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the creator of AI Digger be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data loss, third-party API overages, or account IP bans on target websites, arising out of your use or inability to use the Extension.
7. Modifications to the Extension
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Extension or any service to which it connects, with or without notice and without liability to you.
