I am first year PhD Economics student at the University of Sussex and a Doctoral Fellow at the International Center for Tax and Development (ICTD)

My research is centred on understanding drivers of State capacity and how citizens interact with the State. I have been closely interacting with policing, tax and other major bureaucracies in Pakistan since 2013. I am also a Senior Programs Manager and Consulting Lead at Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives

My research fields are Public and Development Economics using Experimental methods
