Each commencement ceremony, FIU honors select individuals for their extraordinary academic, professional, and personal achievements as they graduate from FIU. These graduates must show unparalleled tenacity, talent, and commitment, as well as exceptional performance in and outside the classroom. This university-wide award recognizes a student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership through academic achievement and/or research.

We developed a distributed IoT sensing mechanism and analyzed how such an approach can be beneficial in leveraging an efficient federated learning algorithm.
