About the Novel
Yad-Oden (Oblivion) is a literary novel that explores the politics of memory and forgetting under authoritarian power. Blending psychological fiction, metafiction, and historical testimony, it examines how violence extends beyond the body into language, culture, and personal history. Through an associative, nonlinear narrative, the novel investigates the fragile relationship between remembrance and identity, suggesting that imagination survives only as long as memory endures. At once intimate and political, Yad-Oden is a meditation on censorship, trauma, exile, and the enduring human capacity to envision a freer world beyond fear.
