Teaching Philosophy

I believe it is important that students should acquire fundamental concepts from the courses that they take. I also believe that students should implement these concepts in the real world. Students should learn not just how to solve a problem but how to do it effectively and efficiently. I also encourage them to ask questions and engage in lively discussions in the classroom to form their own opinions.

As an instructor, I encourage students to read and discuss the most current research on the course topics so they can build their own constructive criticism. I strive to teach students the ability to analyze and interpret solutions so they can solve realistic problems. On the other hand, I like to allocate a few minutes of each lecture to give students an insight into different interdisciplinary sciences throughout the course. This would build the students' intuition while letting them discover how other sciences are related to the course topics.

My goal in teaching is to inspire and motivate students to learn. A teacher's job is to provide the environment and the conceptual framework of the knowledge. This will give the students the ability of self-learning which will help them through their future careers.
