At Prof. Andri Hardiansyah’s Lab, we explore the frontiers of nanotechnology and materials science to create impactful solutions for healthcare and environmental sustainability. Our expertise lies in functional nanomaterials and graphene-based materials, with applications ranging from biosensors and drug delivery systems to tissue engineering, photocatalytic environmental remediation and frontiers technology.

20251226 AH Lab member - Rifqi, Successfully Completed IAMS-IIP (2 months internship) at Institute of Atomic and Molecular Science, Academia Sinica under supervision of Dr. Ching-Wei Lin.
He conducted research about monitoring aggregation in single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) using variance spectroscopy and (6,5) SWCNTs separation.

A visit to the Institute of Oral Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials (IOTEB) School of Dentistry at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan, provided valuable insights into the institution’s advanced dental education, research, and clinical practices.
The visit included discussions with faculty members and researchers, showcasing Institute of Oral Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials (IOTEB) NYCU’s strong integration of biomedical science, engineering, and clinical dentistry.

Story ! Collaboration with Prof. Kida @Kumamoto University 熊本大学 (2019-present).

20251003 Kumamoto University is recognized as one of Japan’s universities leading excellent research. The laboratory led by Prof. Tetsuya Kida in the Department of Applied Chemistry & Biochemistry conducts cutting-edge research in materials chemistry, electrochemistry, chemical engineering, and catalysis. The group’s expertise includes nanomaterials synthesis, inorganic and organic hybrids, graphene oxide, electrochemical devices, separation membranes, gas sensing, biomass conversion, and oxide-catalyzed organic synthesis. This research aligns closely with the topics pursued by the applicant’s research group at BRIN, resulting in a strong foundation for collaboration.
BRIN's collaboration with Kumamoto University was initiated in 2019-2020, when Prof. Andri Hardiansyah participated in the International Research Organization for Advanced Science & Technology (IROAST) internship program collaboration with Prof. Tetsuya Kida. Both sides conducted research on the development of graphene membrane for gas sensing applications. Since then, almost every year until now (2025), both side-Prof. Andri and Prof. Kida activelly had an on-site scientific meeting (Both in Indonesia or Japan) and joint research collaboration in the production of two-dimensional carbon nanosheets for various application including gas and biomolecules sensing
