About Our Founder

Hi! My name is Randi. I am a 2021 Gold Award Girl Scout from the Greater Atlanta area. I began my Girl Scout journey as a Brownie and have been active in scouting throughout middle and high school. After completing two impactful journeys, I was eager to get started on my Gold Award. Going into my Junior year of high school, the stress and anxiety of test scores combined with the rigor of Gold caused me to end my process early. During the social unrest that swept across our nation in early 2020, my troop was led to plan and facilitate a successful virtual event that garnered participation from over 80 adults and girls. I noticed not only a need, but a demand for relevant, age-appropriate programming around the social justice movement sweeping the nation and the world. This project will not only benefit the public by providing engaging events to discuss important topics, but will also provide an organization like Girl Scouts with a valuable tool to promote diversity and inclusion across its membership.
