We would like to give you satisfaction here, how we will apply your financial contribution to this Project for the preservation of the Atlantic Forest of Southern Bahia.

It is important to emphasize that our family preserves 70% of our property, an important part of this rainforest; and that for more than 60 years. During this whole time we didn't get any profit from this area, only costs like taxes, vigil and monitoring.

This Project aims, however, to seek financial support for our engagement. The idea is to involve more people in decisions about new actions, which can favor the flora and especially the fauna with increasingly extensive areas. If at the moment we have 350 hectares of our own to expand the 200 hectares already preserved, we would like to acquire new neighboring areas, most of which are also well preserved, for our project.

At the moment, we stipulate 50% of donations for the maintenance of areas already preserved (including taxes, renovations to the project's visitor reception facilities and funds for publicizing the project and acquiring new donors) and 50% for the acquisition of new areas and its regulation.

Some issues will be discussed by a council, in which each donor can participate.

We are proposing the following themes for the near future:

• Creation of new RPPNs (Private Natural Heritage Reserves);

• Acquisition of new neighboring areas;

• Renovation of visitation facilities;

• Creation of a Sustainable Condominium.
