Summary of Session
The Agricultural Microbiomes RCN organized a session at Phyllosphere 2022 in Davis, CA. In our Session (Challenging Concepts in Spatial Scale Ecology and Management of Phyllosphere Microbial Communities) we were joined by: David Armitage, Morgan Carter, Mitja Remus-Emsermann, and Robin Choudhury who shared their research with all the attendees. We later separated into smaller groups to discuss the ways scale challenges our abilities to understand the phyllosphere microbiomes and what are some of the big questions we need to answer about scale for phyllosphere microbiomes?
