Cacoo is an online tool to create diagrams. You can either start from scratch or modify predesigned templates. It is an ideal app for collaborative work: it can be edited by multiple people at the same time and changes are visible in real time. There is also a chatbox inside the site where you can communicate with your peers and organize your work or brainstorm ideas. It is user-friendly and offers a wide variety of tools to make the diagrams creative and intuitive.
The possible outcomes are infinite: Cacoo is used to create more than just mind maps and charts. People also outline web pages, presentations, time lines and even ground plans!
Cacoo offers a free trial, and after 14 days, you have to pay for their services. The cost depends on the amount of members that will share the same dashboards. It ranges from $6 USD (1 member) to $6,000 USD (1000 members) monthly. For example, a group of 15 members costs $90 USD a month.

Most users agree on the fact that Cacoo is an excellent tool. It is easy to use, it offers lots of editable stickers and shapes to make the structure of the diagrams, and it is a great option to work collaboratively. Also, Cacoo can be integrated with other apps, such as Microsoft Teams, Google Drive and Adobe Creative Cloud.
About its disadvantages, there is no much to say about. Some users mention the price. It would be better to have more free options, since there are items inside the workspace which can not be used unless you have the upgraded account. Users also advice to work on a tablet or computer with a big screen since using the app through the cell phone may be a little bit uncomfortable.
In regards to my experience with the platform, I can say it is amazing in the sense that you can come up with anything you are thinking of: from a simple mind map to organize concepts to the creation of a poster, for example. Cacoo is easy to use, whether you learn to use it on your own or you search for tutorials, the app has a clear layout and content organization. It would be better, though, to have a free version available more days to exploit its tools better.
