Shipping Guide

1) Tangible goods and products used within the household;

2) Movable personal property placed in rooms within an accommodation.

There are some restricted and prohibited items that cannot be included in your shipment as per customs regulations. Please carefully refer to the instruction provided by shipment company to avoid any delay on the process. 

Agoda will cover the following household items shipment for our employees under the following criteria:

A) Max. 15 cbm for single expat relocation

B) Max. 30 cbm for expats moving with dependents

C) Shipment insurance (IF the Total Declared Insured Value of your shipment does not exceed USD 100,000)

• If the value is greater than USD 100,000, you will have to bear the excess insurance cost

Remark: Musical instruments (i.e. piano, guitar, keyboard) and sporting equipment (i.e. bicycle, tennis racket, golf club) will incur import duties. You will need to bear the costs if you would like to include such items in your shipment.

If you are only looking to bring along a small quantity of personal items, such as clothing, books, toys, and toiletries, it may be faster and more cost efficient to purchase additional baggage on your flight.

• Agoda will allow reimbursement for purchase of up to 2 additional baggage (up to 46 kgs.) if you choose not to opt for the shipping option

Remark: Should you select the shipping option, please inform us as soon as possible. Moving companies may be fully booked on your requested survey or packing dates, especially during April towards July.
