There isn't one foolproof recipe or model for creating a successful makerspace in the library. After tinkering with different ideas, I invited students to join and I allowed my makerspace to be shaped by the ideas my students brought with them as well as the available space and materials. The key to success is flexibility, creativity and open minds. In my makerspace students design and build with Lego and Kapla, they use WeDo 2.0 and Dash and Dot robots and they code with Scratch and Scratch Jr. This year, we added a green screen and GreenScreen by DoInk app for more engagement.
