Inquiry Based Learning

This year, I embarked on an incredible journey with National Geographic and completed a course called "Connecting Geo-Inquiry to Your Teaching Practice". Through this course, I met educators from all over the world and was inspired by their creative and innovative approach to teaching. I immediately started implementing Geo-Inquiry in my teaching practice and the results are mind-blowing. As an educator, I feel I have a fresh perspective on teaching and learning and I love watching my students get involved and stay motivated as they engage in this process with me. I'm currently working on my National Geographic certification and I'm feeling empowered by my new learnings. The slides below show my understanding of Geo-Inquiry and how it connects to the Ontario Curriculum.
