I'm a teacher librarian at an elementary school and I work with students from Kindergarten to Grade 5. In my teaching career, I have worked as a primary and junior division teacher, special education teacher and ESL teacher. I also worked with adults as an Instructional Leader for Teaching and Learning with Technology and facilitated workshops and presentations on technology enhanced learning.

In my current teaching practice, I use inquiry based learning and geo-inquiry framework to engage students in meaningful and authentic learning experiences. My students use Google Suite and Google classroom to communicate and collaborate with each other. My students learn through coding, robotics, using green screen technologies and designing and building. In addition to teaching, I offer students opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities such as reading clubs and makerspaces.

I also served as a member and a mentor for Digital Lead Learners professional network. Currently, I'm a member of Regional Teacher-Librarian Facilitator group for Toronto District School Board.
