Beyond my professional work, I devote part of my time to volunteering for different projects.
One of them supports a school in Haiti: Centre Educatif Saint-Omer in Croix-des-Bouquets. Through this initiative, the school receives essential resources that allow children to learn, despite a difficult and instable political and economic environment in Haiti.
The project was launched after a severe earthquake in Haiti in January 2010 claimed over 230,000 lives, injured another 300,000 and destroyed the homes and hopes of millions of people. The natural disaster struck one of the poorest countries on earth. The project is entirely dependent on donations, as there is no dedicated government funding.
