Since November 2019, I am a Professor of Economics at Cologne University of Applied Sciences (TH Köln).
Since April 2015, I am a Senior Research Analyst at the Flossbach von Storch Research Institute.
In May 2025, I joined the Editorial Board of International Economics and Economic Policy as an Associate Editor.
In September 2025, I am a member of the Executive Editorial Board of Eastern European Economics.
My main areas of research are international macroeconomics, international trade, and innovation economics.
