Warning on possible lodging scam
Some participants of previous conferences held at Euler Institute told us that they were approached by telephone by people from Business Travel Management and other companies purporting to help with the booking of accommodation and requesting the credit card information. This is a scam, you should not give them any valuable personal information. The organizing committee has no relation whatsoever with Business Travel Management. No one from the organizers is going to ask for your credit card information especially since we do not need it: in order to book the hotel we need only your name, and if we are going to cover you accommodation expenses then we will pay directly to the hotel.
Visa Information
On the EIMI website you can find out whether you need a Russian visa, current requirements for your passport to get it, the relevant type of the invitation and further useful information. Note that the application for a Russian visa can take a while, so we recommend to start it well in advance.

How to get to St. Petersburg from the airport
The Pulkovo airport is located 23 kilometers away from the central Palace Square of St. Petersburg. Busses no. 39, 39Э and the shuttle minibus K39 run from the airport to Moskovskaya Metro Station. Then travellers can get to the downtown of St. Petersburg via metro, see the scheme.
Taxis are also available at the airport.
Location
Both the school and the conference will be held at the Euler International Mathematical Institute (EIMI).
Address: Pesochnaya nab. 10, St.Petersburg 197022, Russia. The nearest metro stations are Petrogradskaya and Chyornaya Rechka (see the map below). Busses no. 1, K252, K127, K76, K690 run between these stations along Kamennoostrovsky prospekt (avenue).
Accommodation
Participants of EIMI conferences usually stay at the Andersen hotel. Address: 4, Chapygina str., 197022, St.Petersburg, Russia. Phone: +7 (812) 740-5140. Breakfast is included. The prices for single and double rooms are 3000 RUB – 4000 RUB per night. Visa and Mastercard are accepted as well. The hotel is within walking distance (~1 km) from the Institute.
