This section is designed to give us a deeper understanding of the concepts of hazard, exposure, and vulnerability for us to be resilient at all times. This intends to help the learner understand the concept of disaster. Disasters are a reality. Perhaps our most potent response to it must be awareness, knowledge, and understanding of this reality. Students will be able to explain the impact of various hazards on various exposed elements and name some examples of hazards from any perspective.
