AgentChat is an open client application that allows users to connect to and communicate with AI agents using the A2A (Agent-to-Agent) JSON-RPC protocol. By downloading or using AgentChat, you agree to these Terms of Use.
AgentChat is a messaging interface — a client only. We do not build, operate, host, or control any AI agent. The app connects to agents that you choose and configure. We have no visibility into your conversations.
You are solely responsible for:
The AI agents you choose to connect to
The content of messages you send and receive
Ensuring the agents you use comply with applicable laws and regulations
Using the app in a lawful, ethical, and respectful manner
You must not use AgentChat to:
Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
Generate, transmit, or store content that is harmful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
Harass, intimidate, or harm any individual or group
Facilitate fraud, deception, or impersonation
Conduct unauthorized surveillance or data collection on others
Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or disrupt AI systems or third-party services
Attempt to exploit AI agents for malicious, deceptive, or unethical purposes
AgentChat connects to AI agents hosted and operated by third parties. We are not responsible for:
The behavior, accuracy, or safety of any AI agent you connect to
The privacy practices of third-party agent operators
Any harm arising from your use of third-party agents
You should review the terms and privacy policies of any agent you connect to before use.
AgentChat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every AI agent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ananya Banerjee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of AgentChat or any AI agent you connect to through it.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
