The Love of Jesus

Christianity is a love story, God is the lover and we are the beloved

God's commitment to us, his Word, is Jesus

God is a good father, merciful, generous and just

Love costs suffering, but the price is worth it

Don't be afraid to give yourself to God, who loves you

God often provides for us quietly, even anonymously

Have a heart like Jesus' heart: mature, humble, and full of love for others

The real gift of Christmas is God, come in person into human history

Real love is like Jesus' love. It keeps loving no matter what

We are made by God to be connected to him and to each other

We don't need to do anything to earn Jesus' love. He helps us to be better

It is hard to be good but Jesus wants to save, so he will save us, if we let him

Our life with God is lived in the heart, through Faith, Hope and Love

Shepherds are in the Christmas story because Jesus is the Good Shepherd

Jesus is living and active in the world today, and can be in your life, too

The Sacred Heart of Jesus shows us how much Jesus cares about and loves us

Temperance, the virtue of good things in the right quantity, frees us to love God, the greatest good of all

The eternal life that Jesus offers is a sharing in the eternal life of God himself

God gives us Eternal Life by giving us his Holy Spirit to abide with us forever

The Eternal Life God gives comes from who God is

God has mercy towards us and wants to save us, even though we don't deserve it

Jesus has mercy on us so that we can believe in him and be his friends

Jesus is truthful, loving, and sometimes challenging. He is worth getting to know better

Jesus is gentle and humble of heart, putting others before himself

The shepherds and the manger in the Christmas story tell us about who Jesus is

Jesus became vulnerable, exposing himself to harm, for love of us

Things are not OK. Help is on offer. Accept while you can.
