Our Faith

Our Statement of Faith

1. The Bible

We believe that the 66 books of Holy Scripture as originally given are in their entirety the Word of God verbally inspired and wholly without error in all that they declare and, therefore, are the supreme and final authority of faith and life.

2. The Triune God

We believe in one Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; three persons with same perfect holy characters.

3. God the Father

We believe The Father God, who created, sustains, rules over all creation according to His good will.

4. Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is God, the eternal Son of God, and the Son of Man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born through the virgin Mary, died on the cross for the sins of the world, and rose from the dead on the third day; one day He will come again, establish His kingdom, and judge the world according to His justice.

5. The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is God, came to the Church at Pentecost. We believe that the Holy Spirit is responsible for the conviction of sin, quicken from death in life, continuing of the work of victorious sanctification in believers.

6. The Fall of Man

We believe that man was originally created in the image of God, that he fell into sin through the first Adam, and that He is responsible for all sin he has committed.

7. Salvation through Faith

We believe that the only way to salvation is to belief that Christ bore our sins in His own body on the cross, receive Him as the saviour and master of our lives, be counted as righteous because of the faith in Jesus. We believe that salvation is through faith, not by works, and that works are the fruits of true spiritual rebirth. We believe that for all who receive Christ as saviour and reborn from the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit indwells in them, and their inheritances in the kingdom of God is eternally secured.

8. The Church

We believe that the universal church was established by Jesus Christ, who is the head of the church; the church is his body, and all born-again believers are members of the body of Christ, manifested through local churches; and at the command of God, believers are baptized into Christ and received the sacrament to commemorate Christ's death.

9. The Holy Matrimony

We believe that marriage is a covenant, representing the relationship between Christ and the Church. We believe marriage is an exclusive, permanent union between one man and one woman.

10. The Great Commission

We believe all Christians are called by God to witness Christ, to preach the gospel to all nations.
