Greetings Calontir!

In the last month We have gained Heirs, enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing week of friendship and fun at Lilies War, and traveled to see Our friends of the Outlands and reforge the friendship between our two great kingdoms!

Much like the rising Falcon We must look forward, forward to Raid or Trade and then to Feast of Eagles where Ayisha Bint Asad will be elevated to the Order of the Laurel and then to Pennsic 50!

The Falcon flies ever forward!

We are so very excited, for soon We will have heirs! Please do attend Our Crown Tournament in the Barony of Three Rivers to help Us prepare for Our Kingdom's future, on June 3rd.

Lilies War will hold many great days in the sun, Archery, Classes, Fighting, Merchants! From June 9th till the 18th, We will camp on the grounds of the

Kelsey Short Youth Camp at Smithville Lake. Our vacation war is sure to be an amazing time with friends and family - and an amazing chance to welcome our

visitors from afar! Many citizens from other kingdoms should be attending, We know we will welcome them with open arms.

Looking forward, We trek to Battlemoor, and soon beyond to Pennsic! Remember to support Our waterbearers and soup kitchen with donations and helping hands, so as to make light work. 

Do you know someone who may be interested in the SCA? Invite them to your local practice and events! Introduce them to the local Chatelaine so that our ranks may grow.

From Their Majesties Calontir

As Spring turns to summer, We reminisce of a grand Coronation and an amazing Queen's Prize! However, We cannot focus on the past, beloved Calontir. 

In the next few months, we have Battlemoor with our friends in the Outlands, Lilies at our gorgeous lakeside retreat, and a Crown Tournament to find our new

heirs!

To the Citizens of the heartland, no reign can last forever and with that in mind we must look for heirs. We will be hosting a crown tournament in the Barony of Three Rivers on 3rd of June 2023. The format of the tournament will be best two of three, buckler and sword. The finals will be fought in the traditional style with the third fight being buckler if needed. Letters of intent will need to be submitted to the Kingdom Seneschal and Ourselves before May 21st 2023.

Greetings unto the people of the Heartland!

War is upon us, preparations have been made and we march south to the lands of Gleann Abhann. Remember to take in all that Gulf has to offer, activities, parties, a bakery and so much more! But while away at war we would remind all that when we return it will be time to prepare for Queens Prize. 

A Personal thank you to all of the Barony of Three Rivers for hosting us for Winter Court and Chieftains! Your hospitality is legendary.

Greetings to the Heartland from TRH Calontir!

Gulf is soon upon us! We encourage our fighters to take up arms and practice our army skills at Winter War Maneuvers. Later this year we look forward to Battlemoor and Pennsic to march as an army and bring wordfame home!

Artisans, our Princess is excited to see what amazing things you will make for Queens Prize! Let us all do what we can to encourage new makers by sponsoring their entries, or just helping with advice and materials! 

February brings us War of the Phoenix and Chieftains- please attend and enjoy, we are always happy to see you!

Greetings from your Falcon Prince and Princess!

We greet this new year with great hope and promise for our heartlands. Gulf Wars is coming, and we urge you fighters to practice well at your local practice, and attend Winter War Maneuvers to train as an Army! Prince Agammemnon is our general for this war, and we look forward to seeing our forces gather to fight alongside Vindheim. Gulf is a favorite; with activities for Equestrians, Archers, Artisans, Fourth Company and more. Please muster, and bring all your friends!

We look forward to Queens Prize, where we encourage ALL peers and GOA artisans to sponsor an entrant if able, and to volunteer to judge. We would love to see more entrants this year than ever, so encourage artisans to talk about their work and to enter it in Queens Prize!
