Preferred Habitat: Cliffs wherever there is a minimum of vegetation and temperatures between temperate and warm.
Differences:
P. alba has pale colors, a larger nose, shorter hair, a single row of suckers on its tail, X-shaped spines (on the shoulders, back, and tail), and its forefoot toes grasp two at a time (all the same size) like chameleons.
P. tenebricosa has very dark colors, a smaller nose, longer hair, a double row of suckers on its tail, Y-shaped spines (on the back and thighs), and its forefoot toes grasp three at a time (the innermost and slightly shorter, thumb-like toes).
Breeding:
These two species can reproduce and produce offspring naturally, but the hybrids would be sterile.
If a potion were used to mix different species, the offspring would be fertile, but of one species or the other, never hybrids.
Interactions:
They are not commonly found in the wild, but they are not usually territorial as long as there is no shortage of food, so they should not get along badly.
