On each floor, there are 12 individual labs, bathrooms with showers, and a much larger lab area with some machines that are too large and/or too expensive to fit in each lab (There's usually a list you have to book to use the machines, you know, so there's no fighting).
Additionally, the two areas between the labs have a full emergency shower on one wall and enough space for a coffee table and seating, or whatever the floor residents decide to put there (try not to fight).
And don't worry! The windows have one-way glass. You can see from the inside out and let light in, but you can't see anything from the outside in, so privacy is guaranteed without losing the view.
They all measure approximately 37 m2, have at least one wall of windows and two doors. One door is the entrance to the lab, and the other is in a pointless place, as it wouldn't lead anywhere. However, it's actually a portal, one of our newest inventions. It leads to smaller version of our pocket dimencions that resamble an incredibly large room where all your animals can be kept, or you can set up a storage room for resources or whatever you need.
From the doors of your lab to the inside, you're free to organize your space however you want and work however you want, as long as you don't endanger the lives of anyone or any creature.
