ADC v 13.0

Storefront 1906.2

Virtual apps / Desktops 1906.2

I am configuring a new Citrix Access Gateway that will be used for remote access, however i get the 'No apps or desktops available at this time' message after logging in, what is strange is if I refresh the browser or receiver it's fine and shows all my apps / desktops - launches fine everything works for the remainder of the session. This happens via multiple browsers, endpoints, native receiver, different users etc.. If I browse internally to the Storefront store it loads perfect first time after login. It's only via the Netscaler Gateway this happens.

Yeah - The issues is definitely not backend resource based, as mentioned internally it's fine direct to SF. Like I said it actually works perfectly fine once I have hit refresh after logging in effectively ruling out resource contention beyond SF, i've tried multiple browers, laptops, cleared caches, differnet user accounts etc..so we can rule all that out . It enumerates the apps and desktops and lets me launch without problem after refreshing the page. The issue isn't hat it doesn't work per se, it's that I get the no apps or desktop error one time only on first login which is rectified by simply refreshing the page / receiver.

I just renamed my main user (belongs to administrators), and now many metro apps including the Store-App won't open. The outer border appears but then they crash and disappear. A second user that I created afterwards doesn't have this problem. So something is broken in my main user account.

Maybe reinstalling the apps can help solving this problem.I suggest to make a restore point before doing this, in case anything goes wrong. To remove all apps, open an elevated powershell-console(right click --> run as administrator) and run the following command:

Please Note: Maybe there will be some errors when reinstalling the apps, you can savely ignore them. If reinstall won't work try to get full access to the C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\ Folder as mentioned here: -to-take-ownership-and-get-full-access-to-files-and-folders-in-windows-10/

In most cases, the system does not relaunch apps after they are force quit by the user. One exception is location apps, which in iOS 8 and later are relaunched after being force quit by the user. In other cases, though, the user must launch the app explicitly or reboot the device before the app can be launched automatically into the background by the system. When password protection is enabled on the device, the system does not launch an app in the background before the user first unlocks the device.

I am facing a similar challenge today. I have installed an app and I can see it in the Unknown category under the dropdown in 'All apps'. However, when I launch the app, it just quits and nothing shows. I have followed the steps here and enabled Unknown Sources in the Oculus PC app but it hasn't solved my problem. Any help?

For the brushes... The best practice is walk through all 3 apps (if you own all three) and check the Brushes palette. You should see the link (or shopping bag) icon next to it. It means, those brushes converted well to the V2 Shared Brushes. You can export and then import the Brushes without the link icon to make them linked. The advantage is, they're stored just once across the suite.

This is great! I think Walt and Stepaan have led me to the goal here. Thanks, Stepaan for the images and detailed locales for the files. I'm on it. I'll definitely link everything I can. I have the "universal" V2 package, so that's all three apps. I had all three as individual apps in V1. I'll just have to make sure each one is transferred and will try with linking first. Also, when I installed V2 Universal, most or maybe all of my brush purchases were able to be re-downloaded and added to V2 automatically. But there may be others not listed or those other files will still need to be ported over. Once again, thanks for the insights and great explanations.

So I have no issues accessing my ReadyCloud (RN102) locally but can not via the app whether locally or remotely. Are there any 3rd party apps that will allow remote access to the device? I mainly want to perform file management functions (upload, download, file management and sharing, maybe some admin too).

After last Android app update (i guess to 1.86.0.6) on kid's device a pop-up showed asking whether I want to activate some new setting/feature. First option was to activate it, second to keep current behavior (something with 2-finger swipe gesture???). I chose the first option. Since that time an icon in the edge of the screen is overlaid on the device screen (showing always, overlaying everything, all apps). The icon is shown in screenshot attached (marked in red - bottom left). I want to get rid of that icon because it is disturbing. Please provide me with instruction how to hide the icon. Thanks.

KSK 1.86.0.6) on kid's device. KSK icon in the edge of the screen is overlaid on the device screen (showing always, overlaying everything, all apps). The icon is shown in screenshot attached (marked in red - bottom left). I tried to find app settings to disable the icon but did not succeed. Nothing happens when I tap the icon.

I did not read the previous replies yet but I got the problem on one more device - a brand new Poco M5s. Unboxed device, Android 12 + Miui 13.0.1.0 was there. Installed KSK (restored apps from old mobile via Google cloud account backup - not physically copying from old device - KSK automatically installed by Google, but I doubt any app settings was transferred). No overlay icon yet. Updated device to Miui 13.0.3.0 (2x security patch) and after device restart (and without starting KSK manually), the troubling KSK icon appeared!!! KSK has still no account configured, still clean install!

I do confirm that turning off the accessibility button does remove the icon. This button can either be turned off globally or per app. However the KSK accessibility setting seems to only contain the button and not general accessibility switch, which other apps (Microsoft Family Safety) still do have so I think KSK fretures that use accessibility may be broken now.

In a nutshell, I installed Big Sur yesterday and now I have an issue where many of the apps I have installed won't show up in the search results, even after clearing the application cache and rebuilding the macOS metadata. Things I observed:

Once your index is healthy and complete, with no red errors when running the troubleshooting tool, you'll be one step closer to macOS providing Alfred with the necessary file metadata to be able to return results when searching. A broken index means that any other apps relying on the same index behind the scenes would eventually also exhibit the missing files issue.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I recently reinstalled Monterey, and there were few apps missing from Alfred. So I cleared application cache and rebuild metadata. Some app showed up, but some apps are still missing. Everything shows up in Spotlight.

That you were able to complete an installation probably means you can install from outside the Microsoft App Store but it might be worth having a look at Start Menu > Settings > Apps > Apps & Features and making sure that Choose where to get apps is set to Anywhere (rather than Microsoft only). Cheers, Al

Managed to fix it, won't remove the post in case anyone has the same issue. Most apps wouldn't open, including the gnome terminal. Luckily, the Ubuntu Software app was, so I installed the xfce terminal, which opened, and changed the icons through there, this did reset the icons back to normal. The command I used was gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface icon-theme 'icon theme name'.It appears that some weird bug happened with gnome tweaks where after changing the icons it did it "halfway", so it didn't apply to all icons, crashing itself.

Do you need a special smartphone model?

Probably not, but with some caveats. You would certainly need a good camera app that lets you shoot in macro/manual/pro mode with some control on focussing distance, exposure etc. I found that many budget phones had budget camera apps that had fixed picture modes that did not allow much manual control. So I looked around and discovered this nice FOSS app Open Camera in Google play store. It allows a much greater control on manual mode settings, and most importantly, has a special mode for focus stacking photography.

The best indication of where the issue lies comes from Event Viewer. After joining to the domain I'm getting flooded with errors from source: apps EventID: 5973 for various applications, all new or 'metro' applications that are not working. ShellExperienceHost is reporting issues more often than anything else:
