Rules

This year we will be doing a system for consent like last year for all of our attending authors, vendors, actors and influencer's. 

+ Attendees will also be able to choose which colour they would like upon check in. 

Red- No Touch - Absolutely no touching. Please respect personal space at all times.

Blue- Handshakes, fist bumps, high fives, or other light, non-intimate gestures are okay—but always ask first.

Green- Hugs or closer gestures are okay—but always ask first.

Recommended attire:

We're recommend you to wear a costume of your choice! (Doesn't have to be book themed)

NO MASKS, WEAPONS, NUDITY, POLICE/SECURITY COSTUMES 

 FACE PAINT IS ALLOWED. 

YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IF YOU DO NOT ABID BY THE RULES.

No pressure. Truly. After Dark is for everyone and however you show up is the right way. If you want a simple guide: lean into dark colours, add one statement piece, and you'll fit right in. Ask yourself: does this feel like me on a night I want to remember? 

If yes, you're perfect!
