About Me
Hi! I am Naomi O and I have been a Girl Scout since I was in 6th grade! I love exploring my cultural roots in Nigeria and Kenya, psychology, and working with children - which are all the passions that prompted me to begin African Art Therapy at Wesley Rankin! I hope to reach as many people as possible that are passionate about spreading knowledge pertaining to mental health as well!
I express my love for culture through my position as co-president of my school's African Student Union. I had the idea to start this student union when I realized that Africans at my school lacked a year-round outlet to celebrate and appreciate our culture. Moreover, I enjoy dancing and express my love for working with children by volunteering in a children's creative dance class at my local ballet center! In my free time I enjoy laughing with friends, reading African literature and dramas/thrillers, and baking with my little sister.
