Joel Gray is a Pittsburgh-native, graduated of Robert Morris University, and currently serves as the manager of community outreach for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Since age five, Joel has had a passion to serve the Kingdom of God and to this day, seeks ways to align his will with the Lord’s and help disciple others along the way. In the positions he holds today, Joel plans to provide a bridge of opportunity for growth and development within the next generation.
John Stanko founded a personal and leadership development company, called PurposeQuest, in 2001 and today travels the world to speak, consult, and inspire leaders and people in business and church settings. From 2001-2008, he spent six months a year in Africa and still enjoys visiting and working on that continent, while teaching for Ottawa University in Kansas and serving as a purpose and creativity coach for many. John has written 55 books and founded Urban Press in 2014 to help others know the joy of a published creative project.
Janet Hansom, a retired RN, co-founded ABB in 2014. She has traveled to Kenya 5 times, and has a desire to give hope to youth in both Africa and her life-long home in Pittsburgh. She wants to enable youth with the tools they need to fulfill their God-given purpose, and hope for a bright future.
A native to Kenya, Kamau Njenga is a walking testimony of the prevalent hand of God in his life. Nothing is a coincidence & education is key to success. Kamau works towards seeing the youth, both in Pittsburgh and the Kenyan communities which ABB serves, empowered, connected, and purpose filled to take on God's assignments in their lives.
When Kamau is not at his vocation or attending to ABB's mission, this Robert Morris graduate can be found cycling or tinkering with the next best app.
