Teacher of the Year
Would you like to be considered as Arkansas Teacher of the Year? We think you should. Historically, this award has relied on a nomination process by another AFLTA member. While we know it may be difficult to toot your own horn, we don't want this award to be dependent on nomination from others. Being Teacher of the Year is an honor and a commitment and we want members to be a larger part of their own process. We have changed how we accept applications for Teacher of the Year and teachers who would like to be considered must complete the application process. Members may still nominate an applicant.
If a person is nominated for this award, AFLTA will contact the nominee, inviting them to apply for the award. Nominees have the choice whether or not to participate. If you are a member who would like to nominate someone, please encourage them to apply directly. All forms can be found at the bottom of this page.
