FAQs
Is the summer school open to non-UK based undergraduates? Unfortunately not this year, but in future years we may expand.
Is funding available for accommodation and travel for the in person workshop? We have limited funding available for this and will be prioritising non-London based students. We also encourage you to contact your department to see if they have any funding available.
Can I only attend part of the program? We ask all students to commit to the whole program.
Do I have to do the research project full time? No, this is designed to be flexible around your other commitments. As meetings with your research mentor will be online you can take them from anywhere! You will get out as much as you put in though.
Is there funding for the research project? Unfortunately we have very limited funding and are not able to provide a stipend for the research project. We have made the scheme very flexible so that you are able to take part-time work alongside it.
