The Age-Friendly Deerfield Working Group is a volunteer group of residents, endorsed by the Board of Selectmen, who are increasingly aware of the challenge of aging in Deerfield.

Other towns offer Snow Shoveling, Grocery Shopping, Lawn Care, Cleaning Services, we could too with your help.
Any residents interested in helping to create a more age-friendly town are welcome to attend our meetings.

We intend our initiatives to be durable, persisting into the future as long as they are helpful.
We will join established regional services which are able to meet Deerfield needs. We will benefit from their experience, established policies and administrative structures.
We will integrate new services into existing town structures, organizations and services whenever possible, building on the rich, informal culture of caring that already exists in Deerfield.
