Greetings!

My name is Hannah De Souza and I teach third grade at the Argenziano School.

I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and my Master's Degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I am dually licensed for instruction in English as a Second Language and Elementary Education.

I have been teaching newcomer multilingual learners for 13 years in Somerville Public Schools. I specialize in trauma sensitive practices, hands on learning, and native language maintenance. In my classroom we are focused and dedicated to developing English language proficiency and providing meaningful access to grade level content.
